Japanese freak recognitions
Since I stepped a foot in Japan, I am so impressed that I am becoming a total freak. I will list down some humble interesting discoveries.
- @the airport before the Customs, you pass through a door way with sensors to check if you are infected.
- @the customs, they have a small machine on the desk, where it scan your finger print & capture a photo of you.
- They are workaholics, it is normal to finish after 9 or something. Valeo employees are given a Softbank pocket WiFi which is awesome.
- You can find a vending machine at every corner, where you can pay with your smartphone, train card or cash...you can get a hot coffee from it!
- You can't download googlemaps & use it offline.
- Toilets are connected to electronic ToTo washlets, where you use different temperature, nozzle positions,...etc. You can even listen to a recorded track of sea sound :D
- They are very friendly & respective, they keep the environment. No one smokes in the streets at all nor in buildings, you can find an Ecology card in your hotel room & you can see " Keeping it green" posters at any place you head. When a person wants to give you something, they have to serve it to you with both hands.
- I can adjust the Hotel LCD to move to both sides remotely.
- It is not polite to play with chopsticks. Also, you shouldn't plant them vertically in the bowl of rice, it is a bad omen, indicates death as it looks like a grave.
- There are moving scanners connected to white boards, so, you can print out whatever you write on!
- They serve free plates at every restaurant, they don't take tips.
- Yogurt Soda is a famous Japanese drink, super yummy.
- Almond pudding is a Chinese dessert that is famous in Japan.
-They say "Hai" most of the times, as yes or Ok. "yea" means no, "arigato" means thanks, "dozo" means please or you can put an O sound before the word to be more polite.
-Whoever rides a German car, means he/she is very rich
